The Shai Fund is a non-profit organization that provides humanitarian assistance in disaster relief and development situations.

  • Refugee Co-Integration

In 2015 more than a million people entered Germany seeking asylum. Many had made the treacherous journey from their home countries in the Middle East crossing as many as nine borders and a dangerous sea crossing, to escape countries torn by war.

  • Syrian Relief

The ongoing conflict in Syria has displaced six-in-ten Syrians or 60% of the pre-war population. This means that over 13 million have been displaced from their home with a generation of children at risk of being lost in the conflict.

  • Persecuted Minorities of Iraq

IRAQ: Iraq is in an unprecendented humanitarian crises. Following the brutal rise of the Islamic State (IS) in August 2014 many thousands of persons belonging to Iraq's ethnic and religious minorities have been murdered, maimed, abducted, tortured, displaced, including forced into marriage or sexual enslavement, and children taken into training camps.

  • Yezidi Sex Slave Survivors

Many women and children that manage to escape the Islamic State return to find themselves in an IDP (internally displaced camps) camp near Dohuk, in the Kurdish Region of Iraq.
